Deep ruby colour. On the nose, the complexity of the old vines grape blend reveals a pronounced initial intensity of rockrose, with notes of red fruit such as cherry and strawberry, alongside ripe black fruit flavours of stewed plums and blackcurrant, finishing with hints of toasted oak and aromas of coffee and smoke. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with present yet polished tannins and remarkable persistence. Wild berry flavours and notes of coffee and cocoa stand out, leading to a long finish with pronounced intensity.
